Western photojournalists’ Olympics photos

Now is the time to enjoy the wonderful photographs taken by foreign journalists. Their pictures always take a non-Chinese perspective, which Chinese people are not accustomed to, but indeed always astonishes Chinese people. To be sure, the following photographs will not totally represent our Chinese Olympians. Because they are not Chinese people, they will not put China as the center, despite the Olympics being held by our China. However, this point doesn’t matter. Through these photographs, we are supposed to not only appreciate the Olympics but also the whole world from the non-Chinese angle.

Here are posted many splendid photos for everyone to see and enjoy. You can drink a cola on the one hand, and on the other appreciate these photos, feeling totally amused.

1. Hovering. The Chinese athlete is hovering above the judges.

2. Staring. Malin is staring at the tiny ball at the final game.

3. Scenery in the game. (Although the view is normal for Chinese, it’s fantastic for foreigners).

4. 110m Hurdle.

5. Spectacular view of the 100m flying women. The first group of athletes, all of whom come from Jamaica, are flying towards the finish line.

6. The joy of winning. Althetes from Canada are throwing one of their partners into the water to celebrate.

7. Always being the focus. The scene when Phelps gained his eighth gold medal.

8. Hug between father and daughter. Nastia Liukin is hugging with her father after gaining the bronze medal.

9. Beyond speed.

10. A furious collision. Women’s 3000m steeplechase.

11. Intertwining.

12. They’ve tried their best. Men after the 3000m steeplechase.

14. Back to the starting line again. The athletes are adjusting themselves after 20 kilometers race walking.

15. The eventual moment for Phelps recorded by camera in the game of 100m butterfly.

16. Run like mad. The starting moment in the game of men’s 100m.

17. Pink girl. The sign of “peace” and “love” in the palm of an Australian athlete after the game of women’s 3000m steeplechase.

18. Exult. The Chinese athletes won the bronze medal.

19. The challenge of hypso-kinesis.

20. Graceful. American atheletes in the all-round competition .

21. Good eye. Chinese athletes in the semifinals against Germany.

22. As quick as possible into the water.
